As a contemporary fiber artist, I create sculptural garments out of everyday items...big red rubber bands, tickets, dollar bills, baby bottle liners...I keep a sense of past generations throughout my work, while keeping an eye on today. Then garments were made from what was available around them, as do I. In this busy age of moving faster everything is cheep and disposable When is enough enough!?
